The United States is too big and too varied to wrap into a single post, so this page is the running scoreboard. Forty one states visited, nine still on the wishlist, and a growing list of specific places (a desert town here, a coastline there) that deserve their own write up.
Oregon, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Alabama. Some are quick detours, some are full trips of their own. They'll get crossed off, one road sign at a time.
Standalone stories from specific U.S. spots will land here over time: national parks, oddball roadside stops, cities I keep returning to, and a few places I'd quietly skip next time. Treat this as the index, not the destination.
